Tracy J. Bertram, a Campbellsville, Ky., native and director of the Kentucky Office of Insurance Property and Casualty Division, has been elected to the board of directors for the national System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF).
SERFF, originally developed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners in the early 1990s, provides a more efficient method of handling insurance policy rate and form filings between regulators and insurance companies. Bertram also serves on the product steering committee.
“This election is great for Kentucky and recognizes Tracy’s contributions to SERFF from development to implementation,” said Julie Mix McPeak, executive director of the Kentucky Office of Insurance. “His knowledge of the industry continues to be a tremendous asset to the SERFF board and our insurers.”
Bertram, a 1989 graduate of Campbellsville University, began working at the Office of Insurance in 1998.
