Almost a million motorists in the volunteer state will soon pay less for their car insurance. State Farm has announced they it will lower insurance rates for drivers in Tennessee by an average of 2 percent in 2005.
Overall premium changes depend on the coverage carried, the discounts already approved and how much each person drives. The cost of collision coverage is going down the most when the new rates take effect Jan. 1.
