Independent agents and brokers, insurance carriers, technology solution providers, and industry opinion leaders will focus on winning technology strategies to solve real business problems and improve workflows at the 2004 annual IVANS conference.
The conference, “E-commerce Xchange: Winning Strategies,” will be held March 17-19 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Fla. An opening general session will feature keynote speaker Dr. Robert Hartwig, vice president and chief economist for the Insurance Information Institute. Thirteen breakout sessions will highlight such topics as real-time agency-company solutions, Web services and XML. The closing general session features an interactive discussion with various industry leaders.
A pre-conference session on March 17 will provide a detailed look at Transformation Station, the industry’s leading real-time data exchange, as well as provide customers an update on new features and functionality. The IVANS Xchange Demo Room will share hands-on solutions such as real-time policy rating, issuance and inquiry transactions between agents and insurers; end-to-end download solutions; legacy system integration for real time; and industry EDI mailboxing.
