The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA) announced that Donald McMahon III has been elected president of the 600-member trade association.
McMahon is the president and owner of McMahon-Hadder Insurance Inc. in Pensacola. He served as PIA’s vice president and as president-elect for the past two years, and has been actively involved in PIA’s Membership Committee, serving as chair. He received the PIA Leadership Award for his work on that
McMahon is a past president of the Pensacola Independent Agents of Northwest Florida and has served in several community organizations, including the Pensacola Junior College Foundation and the Pensacola Museum of Art.
Mark O’Connell, executive vice president of PIA of Florida, noted, “We are very impressed with Donnie McMahon’s involvement in our association to promote the insurance industry and helping to generate more open markets. He has been instrumental in the growth of our association and we see his presidency as furthering the industry even more.”
