Athens Administrators, a provider of third-party claims administration services, has tapped Catharine Knight as its new Texas sales director.

Knight has more than 25 years in the healthcare and insurance industry as an all-lines adjuster, a sales director for ancillary services to third-party administrators (TPAs), insurance carriers and insurance companies. Knight also served as a community liaison for a post-acute brain injury rehabilitation facility. Most recently, Knight served as the vice president of payor relations for an occupational medicine clinic in Texas.

Knight will utilize her experience to deliver unique, cost-effective claims administration solutions to businesses with the primary responsibility of building and expanding Athens’ presence in Texas.
