The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) announced that its Policy Center for commercial and manufactured home policies is live and available for agents to use.
TWIA said agents must now use Policy Center for all new policy submissions, regardless of line of coverage.
Commercial and manufactured home policies that currently reside in the old policy administration system and are up for renewal will begin to migrate to Policy Center immediately. Agents designated as the primary contact within the Agent Portal will begin to receive email notifications and Policy Center activities regarding these renewals.
Agents who have not yet taken advantage of TWIA’s computer-based Policy Center training are urged to . In addition to detailed computer-based training modules and training videos, there are a variety of job aids to help agents quickly begin using Policy Center.
TWIA staff are also prepared to support agents with the transition to Policy Center for commercial and manufactured home policies. Agents who have questions or need assistance with Policy Center should contact Agent Services at AgentServices@TWIA.org or 1-800-788-8247, Option 4.
