Tony Garcia has joined insurance broker and risk management provider, Marsh, as head of its Houston office.

Garcia joins Marsh from Lockton where he most recently served as an executive vice president and member of its Houston Executive Operations Group. He began his career as an underwriter for American International Group.

Garcia reports to John Newell, Marsh’s South Central Partnership leader.

“Tony has extensive knowledge of the business community in Houston having worked with some of the largest energy, health care, and correctional facilities in the city and across the U.S.,” Newell said
