The Austin Association of Insurance Professionals installed Janie Frias of Risk Placement Services as its president for the coming year.
Frias and other officers and directors were affirmed on May 17 at the AAIP’s annual installation dinner.
AAIP officers for 2016/2017 are:
- President Janie Frias, Risk Placement Services
- President-elect Bonnie Love, Higginbotham
- Vice President Danny Journeay, Specialty Insurance Managers
- Recording Secretary Lindsey Burton, Specialty Insurance Managers
- Treasurer Tamra Johnson, Wortham Risk Management
AAIP directors for 2016/2017 are:
- Kimmi Cantwell, McGowan, Donnelly & Oberheu LLC
- Nelda Dunlap, State Auto
- Rhonda Whoolery, Risk Placement Services
- Tiffany Way, All Risks Ltd.
Frias also received the 2015/16 Insurance Professional of the Year award for all of her hard work and dedication to AAIP this past year.
Frias announced that her theme for the year is “Blast from the Past and into the Future,” and thanked the members for allowing her the opportunity to serve as president of AAIP.
