JLT Specialty Insurance Services Inc. (JLT Specialty USA), a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), appointed Robert M. Battenfield as senior vice president and leader of downstream energy. He is located in Houston.
Battenfield will be responsible for leading JLT Specialty USA’s downstream energy and power business.
Prior to joining JLT Specialty USA, Battenfield served as senior vice president and account executive at Aon Risk Services since 2010. Previously, Battenfield was a national resource broker in power and energy with Aon Risk Solutions’ energy group in Houston, which he joined in 2007. He began his career in 2002 as an account specialist working exclusively in the energy sector with Global Special Risk Inc.
