Allred-Thompson-Mason-Daugherty Insurance (ATMD) agency Wichita Falls, Texas, is now doing business under the name of Higginbotham. The name change was effective Jan. 1.
ATMD has been in operation since 1988.
Jay Awtrey, managing director of Higginbotham in Wichita Falls, said the name change is just a formality. The firms merged in 2008.
ATMD was formed with the union of two well-established Wichita Falls insurance agencies, Allred-Thompson and Mason-Daugherty. It merged with Higginbotham to tap into the firm’s broader selection of insurance products and client services.
Today, the Wichita Falls office employs 40 personnel and has all the insurance, risk management and employee benefit capabilities of Higginbotham.
