Access Home Insurance Co. (Access Home) announced it has received authorization to assume nearly 10,000 policies and more than $19 million in premium from Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corp., the state’s property insurer of last resort.
The policies which will be assumed effective Dec. 1, 2013, will renew onto Access Home paper at renewal.
Access Home Insurance Co. is an admitted Louisiana-domiciled insurance carrier headquartered in Baton Rouge.
Access Home has earned a Financial Stability Rating of A, Exceptional, from Demotech Inc.
