Esurance announced it is now offering renters insurance to new and existing customers in Oklahoma.

Oklahomans who are renting or leasing a condo, home, or apartment can add the coverage to their auto insurance quote or existing auto policy. By doing so, they’ll become eligible for the Renters Plus discount, which can provide additional savings on their car insurance premium.

Limits and exclusion may apply, but Esurance’s renters coverage can include:

• Replacement of laptops, TVs, clothing, and other personal items inside an apartment or rental home
• Additional living expenses if a policyholder is forced from their residence due to fire, water damage, or another unforeseen covered incident
• Medical costs if a visitor is injured in a policyholder’s residence
• Liability costs related to accidents that occur in a policyholder’s residence

Oklahoma is the eighth state to get this new Esurance product.
