Powter Insurance Inc. has acquired Jordan and Jordan Insurance Group, of Frisco, Texas.
Jordan and Jordan Inc., which will continue to operate separately under its current structure, operates both commercial insurance and tire and motorcycle wholesalers divisions. The deal was completed in June.
The acquisition is Powter’s fourth in the growing North Texas market. Linda Wu, former president of Jordan and Jordan, will join Powter.
CEO John Powter said the firm continues to target for acquisition agencies that enhance Powter’s cross-selling abilities and provide value to the combined customer base.
