Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner has issued an emergency order granting licenses to insurance adjusters form other states to help cope with claims expected as a result of a major winter storm.
The state is among those being hit with severe snow, ice and wind and damage is expected to be widespread.
State law gives the commissioner authority to declare an emergency in licensing of adjusters when the state experiences a catastrophe of this nature.
The order grants emergency licenses to any adjusters who are currently licensed and in good standing in another state.
