Oklahoma will be holding a runoff between two Republicans hoping to be the state’s insurance commissioner during its primary election on Tuesday. All registered Republicans will be able to cast a ballot because of the statewide insurance commissioner’s race. Oklahoma has a closed primary system.
Former Insurance Commissioner John Crawford, 78, of Oklahoma City and John Doak, 47, a former insurance agent and executive from Tulsa, are vying to run against Democratic incumbent Kim Holland in the general election.
Early voting continues from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday at county election board offices. The polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
