The Independent Insurance Agents of Austin and the Texas Surplus Lines Association Inc. announced joined efforts recently to collect food and money for the Capital Area Food Bank in Austin, Texas.
Food and money were collected at the IIAA Christmas luncheon held at the Austin Country Club on Dec. 13. The total amount collected was $1,240 in cash and 312 pounds of food, which when combined equals 7,193.6 meals.
Both IIAA and TSLA would like to thank their members for their generosity in donating to this worthy cause. This is the fourth year that IIAA and TSLA have worked together on this community service project.
