Fairfield, Calif.-based GeoVera Holdings Inc., which entered the Texas homeowners market in April 2006, announced they are actively working with Texas producers to secure replacement coverage for policyholders insured with Texas Select Insurance Company, which will cancel all existing policies effective Aug. 23.
The company said it is offering its admitted HO-B homeowners product through “A-” (Excellent) rated insurer, GeoVera Insurance Co. The policies may be quoted and bound online, in minutes through the Companies agency Web site .
“We designed GeoVera’s Texas homeowner’s policy specifically to meet the needs of Texas Select producers from both a coverage and pricing standpoint. In addition, our highly automated, web-based quoting and binding system allows producers to complete the underwriting process and offer replacement coverage to their clients in a matter of minutes,” said Tim Behrendt, executive sales director, GeoVera Insurance Company. In addition, the company will also offer assistance to those agents who need to replace a significant amount of homeowners business prior to Aug. 23.
GeoVera’s Texas homeowner’s policy provides all risk coverage for the dwelling and named perils coverage for contents.
