First Cardinal of Texas Ltd. announced the merger of two of its largest workers’ compensation trusts into a single entity, CompPAC Trust of Texas, effective Jan.1, 2006.
The CompPAC Trust of Texas combines the membership and assets of two successful self-insurance groups: the TACCA Workers’ Compensation Trust, founded in October 2004, and the PHCC of Texas Workers’ Compensation Trust, founded in January 2005. The Texas Department of Insurance approved the merger on Jan. 13, 2006.

Administered by First Cardinal of Texas Ltd., The CompPAC Trust of Texas accepts submissions from all licensed property and casualty agents in Texas.
