The Combined Group announced a recent addition to their staff. Stan Opie has joined the Carrollton-based general agency to assume Senior Nonsubscription Underwriting responsibilities with a seasoned team of Nonsubscriber specialists.
Opie’s background has been in both the carrier and agency settings, primarily in the areas of industrial accident coverage. As a past executive with several specialty organizations, he has served as a vice president, underwriting manager and marketing director with the most recent four years focused on the Texas nonsubscription market.
His experience spans over the last 32 years and he brings a reputation for providing agencies and their customers a well-rounded, competitive insurance product that is designed to serve the needs of the commercial client.
