Don Carson, branch manager of the Houston office of Burns & Wilcox Ltd., announced the addition of Edie Alcott in the position of commercial lines underwriter.
As commercial lines underwriter for the Houston office, Alcott is responsible for underwriting and servicing commercial lines risks for new and renewal business. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, Alcott served as senior commercial lines underwriter with U.S. Risk Group Ltd.
Burns & Wilcox is a national specialty insurance wholesaler, underwriter and managing general agent headquartered in Farmington Hills, Mich.
