The American Tort Reform Association (ATRA) announced it is launching a campaign this week against judicial districts in Texas that have gone askew.
The campaign kicks off Jan. 22, 2004 in Jefferson County, Texas, which was identified in ATRA’s “Judicial Hellholes” report as the second worst Judicial Hellhole in the United States. Attendees can learn about asbestos, class action and medical liability litigation abuse and how the ATRA campaign will help achieve “equal justice under law” in Jefferson County.
ATRA’s press conference features ATRA President Sherman “Tiger” Joyce and will take place Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, Beaumont Plaza, 3950 I-10 South, Beaumont, Texas.
