The Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission recently announced new average weekly workers’ comp wage rates that became effective Sept. 1, 2003.
Under Section 408.047 of the Texas Labor Code, the state average weekly wage for Fiscal Year 2004 is $537 per week. The minimum weekly compensation rate will be $81.
These rates will be effective Sept. 1, 2003, through Aug. 31, 2004.
