Dallas-based Vision Reinsurance Intermediaries Inc. announced that Victor Marques has joined the firm as senior vice president. Marques will focus on Marketing and Production in the North Eastern region of the U.S.
With over 19 years experience, Marques has a broad background in reinsurance. Prior to joining Vision Re, Marques was senior vice president of Am-Re Brokers. He was responsible for management and production of the Hartford branch. He also was previously with Munich American Reinsurance Company and Wilcox Incorporated. He began his career with Covenant Mutual Insurance Company.
Vision Re is headquartered in Dallas, with a branch office in Chicago.
“Victor’s appointment is key to our plan to grow our book of business,” Anne-Marie Roberts, Vision Reinsurance president and CEO commented. “I am certain he will make a significant impact on our plans to establish our presence in the marketplace in the North Eastern region.”
