Tassone Jr. Promoted to CEO of AM Specialty

Dominick Tassone Jr. was promoted to CEO of AM Specialty Insurance Company (ASIC U.S.), effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Since joining AM Specialty Insurance Group in 2023 as chief underwriting officer, Dominick has played an integral role in advancing the underwriting platform, driving profitable growth, and strengthening specialty capabilities.
Shevawn Barder will continue in her role as group chief executive officer of AM Specialty Insurance Group and will be based in New York, overseeing the group’s broader strategic direction and international operations.
Canopius Appoints Leftwich US Regional Head of Strategy and Transformation

Canopius Group, headquartered in Chicago, appointed Lisa Leftwich as U.S. regional head of strategy and transformation.
Leftwich has over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, communications, and sustainability. She joins Canopius from Zurich North America, where she held several senior leadership roles, most recently head of sustainability services at Zurich Resilience Solutions. Her previous roles include director of value proposition development, chief of staff for North America commercial insurance, and director of communications services.
FM Names Erbig EVP, CFO

Commercial property insurer FM, headquartered in Johnston, Rhode Island, appointed Alison Erbig to executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO), effective Nov. 1.
As CFO, Erbig will oversee all aspects of finance for FM, including financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis, treasury operations, corporate real estate and rating agency oversight. She will also lead FM’s risk management and enterprise resilience functions. She joins FM from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she most recently served as CFO for Global Risk Solutions. Additional roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance included comptroller and director of investor relations.
Erbig succeeds Kevin Ingram, who will retire from FM on Dec. 31.
