Chicago-based Green Shield Risk Solutions has announced the introduction of its specialty homeowners insurance platform built with INSTANDA.
Brought to market in just over 90 days, the platform enables quoting, binding and management of affluent homeowners’ insurance in catastrophe-prone states.
According to a press release, Green Shield is addressing a gap in property insurance by leveraging vast amounts of available data to improve policyholder experiences and reduce risk and loss. Green Shield leverages hundreds of data points on property risk factors from at least eight data sources to underwrite catastrophe-exposed properties. They are highly focused on underwriting accuracy, providing more comprehensive coverage and closing the coverage gap for areas affected by weather catastrophes.
Built using INSTANDA’s platform as a foundation, these solutions can be delivered digitally to policyholders and agents in real time.
