Cyber insurance and cybersecurity agency Coalition announced the addition of Brian Specht as the head of Affinity to help the agency reach a broader spectrum of businesses and industries.
Specht brings 30 years of experience from Aon, Ryan Specialty Group, Fireman’s Fund, AIG, and Chubb to the company’s affinity partnerships. Prior to joining Coalition, Specht worked as chief underwriting officer and chief broking officer of Aon Affinity U.S., the program business of Aon Risk Solutions. Previously, Specht worked as executive vice president at WKFC Underwriting Managers, a division of Ryan Specialty Group.
He will be based in New York City and Austin.
San Francisco-based Coalition combines insurance and cybersecurity tools to help businesses manage and mitigate cyber risk. It is backed by insurers Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and Argo Group.
“Losses from cyber crime are expected to ise to $6 trillion in the next few years, but these costs can be mitigated with the right tools and cyber insurance coverage in place,” said Specht.
