Reinsurance broker JLT Re has appointed Aaron Bueler as executive vice president and managing broker. He will be based in JLT Re’s Seattle office reporting to George Daddario, deputy CEO of JLT Re in North America.
Bueler will join JLT Re on Sept. 8 after completing his contractual obligations with Guy Carpenter.
Daddario said Bueler will be focused on business development and as he has previously led national workers’ compensation and terrorism risk practices at Guy Carpenter, he will also work in these specialty areas.
Bueler has been with Guy Carpenter for nearly 30 years. He previously worked at Sedgwick Re which became part of Guy Carpenter in 1999.
