Chicago-based insurer CNA has appointed of Liz Aguinaga as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She will be responsible for strategies and operations for global human resources across the entire CNA enterprise.
Aguinaga joined CNA in 2010 as a vice president and human resources business partner. Her responsibilities included the talent development and human capital strategy for CNA’s global business, encompassing 64 branches around the world. Prior to this role, she served for nine years in both recruiting and human resources generalist functions at the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.
Aguinaga succeeds Debbie Nutley, who announced her retirement earlier this year after 19 years of service at CNA.
Aguinaga will report to Tom Pontarelli, executive vice president and chief administration officer.
