ProSight Specialty Insurance has launched a new insurance offering for drone operators. The proprietary program was developed from the company’s experience in insuring drone use in the film and live media industries and redefines “aircraft” to eliminate the exclusion for specified drones.
In addition, the coverage for drone operators includes various operations such as filming, rental, events, agriculture and non-flight related exposures.
Available nationwide to drone operators across many industries, the program offers one-stop shopping for coverage that expands beyond the property of the drone or office. The coverage can be tailored to each customer to include coverage for events, productions, operations, contractual liability, personal injury, bodily injury, property damage, 3rd party property damage and more.
ProSight Specialty Insurance focuses on niche markets underwrites on the paper of ProSight Specialty Insurance’s group of insurance companies. Based in Morristown, NJ, ProSight Specialty Insurance has regional offices in Los Angeles, New York and Santa Rosa and owns and manages Syndicate 1110 at Lloyd’s of London.
