Specialty Insurance Group (SIG) and Reel Media, LLC have formed a strategic alliance within the entertainment industry to service the specialty entertainment insurance market segments.
The agreement combines the underwriting capabilities of both SIG and Reel Media with the established market of Reel Media and the financial backing of SIG and its affiliate, Everest Re Group. SIG will adopt a presence in Reel Media’s Burbank, California office as a satellite of SIG’s Indianapolis-based corporate headquarters.
The partnership will see SIG fulfill the role of underwriter for the majority of Reel Media’s specialty entertainment policies, combining Reel Media’s growing client base with SIG’s underwriting capabilities and segment experience.
SIG is a member company of Everest Re Group, Ltd. and operates within the specialty insurance industry. SIG provides a multitude of programs within the sports, leisure and entertainment markets. SIG also has working relationships with other insurance companies and Lloyd’s of London brokers.
SIG’s target programs include, but are not limited to: amateur and professional sports, motorsports, entertainment, event sponsors, venues and special events鈥攁nd offers insurance products in contingency, participant accident, worker’s compensation, property and liability coverage.
