Amy Frederick has been promoted to vice president and chief information officer of Main Street America Group.
Frederick will be a member of the super-regional property/casualty insurance carrier’s senior management team and report to Main Street America chairman and CEO Tom Van Berkel. She will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla.
Frederick joined Main Street America in April 2014 as director of application production in information technology. She has a strong track record of leading IT operations at property/casualty insurance companies. This includes her role as CIO鈥擴S Operations at Aspen Insurance, the position she held prior to joining Main Street America. Frederick’s background also includes heading finance IT at XL America and as a senior consultant for Krismatic Software, where she supported ING US Financial Services.
