Global insurance and reinsurance broker Willis Group Holdings has appointed Scott Hull as executive vice president and head of Surety. Hull will be responsible for directing surety operations across Willis’ platform, with a focus on expanding surety capabilities globally.
Hull previously served as managing director and U.S. Contract Surety practice leader for Marsh USA.
Late last year, Willis announced the creation of five new industry groups – Construction, Financial Services, Natural Resources, Transportation and Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Hull will work with this global Construction group and report to Bill Creedon, global head of Construction for Willis.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Hull has 22 years of experience in the insurance brokerage and construction industry. Prior to Marsh, he was a senior vice president with Willis’ Construction practice in Alabama.
