Bret Strickland has been named president and chief operating officer of Atlantic Casualty Insurance Co., replacing William G. Reynolds, who retired after more than 35 years in the insurance Industry.
Strickland started with Atlantic Casualty in 1997 and for the past decade has been involved with all aspects of the company. Since 2008 he has held the role of chief operating officer, managing the day-to-day activities of the company.
Atlantic Casualty Insurance Co. was formed by Strickland Insurance Group (SIG) in 1983 and today has offices in Goldsboro, N.C.; Hartford, Conn.; Philadelphia, Pa. and Scottsdale, Ariz. The insurer offers products for commercial general liability, commercial package, inland marine, commercial property, boiler and machinery and commercial auto (N.C. only) exclusively through wholesale brokers and general agencies.
