HCC Medical Insurance Services, LLC (HCCMIS) has added sports travel insurance to their Atlas Travel Insurance policies at no additional charge. Sports travelers can now access Atlas insurance features like zero coinsurance outside of the U.S. and emergency medical evacuations.
Appealing to thrill-seekers, students and travelers looking to cross items off their bucket lists, HCCMIS has launched a new web campaign to introduce travelers to some of the activities now covered by Atlas Travel Insurance.
“One big reason people choose to travel internationally is to experience new things,” said Mark Carney, chief executive officer of HCCMIS. “Now that we have added sports coverage to our Atlas Travel Insurance plans, our customers can pursue more experiences. They won’t be held back by so many ‘what ifs’ when faced with the opportunity to go cave diving or give bungee jumping a try while overseas.”
The new sports travel insurance highlights some of the sports now covered by Atlas Travel Insurance, including water sports, mountain sports, and sky sports. Those participating in a professional intercollegiate, interscholastic, intramural, or club events are not eligible for sports travel insurance.
