All independent insurance agents and brokers are invited to participate in the 2012 . All individual survey responses and information will be kept strictly confidential, while the results will be published by ¾ÅÉ«.
The survey provides important information on insurance agency compensation trends, and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
During the past four years, average agency salaries across the board remained mostly flat, according to previous Agency Salary Surveys.
Producer commissions haven’t fared well either.
According to IJ’s Salary Survey last year, the majority of agencies reported producer commissions in 2010 decreased (29 percent) or stayed the same in 2010 as in 2009 (44 percent).
The good news: even in today’s challenging times a good 28 percent of agencies reported producer commissions increased.
