The Navigators Group’s principal underwriting agency subsidiary, Navigators Management Co., Inc., has launched a Premises, Products and Pollution Liability insurance policy or “NP3,” which is designed to cover both the general liability and pollution liabilities of manufacturing and distribution risks in one integrated insurance policy.
“It is no longer prudent for businesses to assess their general and environmental liabilities independently,” said Adrien Robinson, vice president and head of the Environmental division. “The integrated approach of the NP3 policy enables businesses to manage complex risk and coverage considerations in a cost-effective manner.”
In addition to ISO-based general liability and a full suite of environmental coverages, NP3 includes enhancements such as employee benefits administration and crisis management coverage. The policy also offers broad excess liability coverage, sitting over the primary general liability, as well as excess of primary auto and employer’s liability, using a single insurance policy.
The NP3 policy is underwritten for U.S.-based companies by Navigators Insurance Co. and Navigators Specialty Insurance Co., which are both rated “A” (Excellent) by A.M.
