The Herbert H. Landy Insurance Agency based in Needham, Mass., introduced the Real Estate Express Application, an errors and omissions insurance product for independent real estate agents and brokers, real estate firms and real estate appraisal firms.
The E&O program is available through independent insurance agents across the country in 30 states and is ready to be approved in additonal states soon. Eligibility is determined based on six qualifying questions and rates are on the application.
“Designed for firms who meet a revenue criteria, primarily smaller real estate and appraiser firms, our Real Estate Express errors and omissions insurance application has been a huge success,” said Betsy Magnuson, president of Landy. “This is the perfect solution for smaller firms who have low exposures.”
John Torvi, director of marketing and sales says, “We have been swamped with requests from independent agents across the country regarding our Real Estate Express Program errors and omissions insurance plan.” Torvi says in most states coverage can be purchased for $660 annually for $1 million of coverage.
Landy also offers E&O coverage for larger real estate and appraiser professionals.
