Concord, Ohio-based Marsh, Berry & Company Inc. appointed Brian Witherspoon as the executive director of APPEX, an exchange network for independent insurance agencies, and as and senior vice president of the company.
Witherspoon has worked closely with APPEX for almost two years as the vice president of Partner Services. He has a strong background in management consulting and insurance, having worked at Proudfoot Consulting prior to joining MarshBerry. He has also consulted for clients in many different industries, including many Fortune 500 firms. He will continue to utilize this background as well as experience working for insurance carriers to deliver quality services to the APPEX membership.
“We are delighted to have Brian as the new executive director of APPEX,” said Executive Vice President Albert Lloyd. “Brian’s insurance industry experience coupled with his demonstrated leadership will be a tremendous asset to the APPEX membership.” Albert Lloyd will continue to be involved in the strategic direction and activities of APPEX.
