ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has promoted Bob Gallozzi to senior vice president, Commercial Marine, part of ACE USA’s International & Specialty Group.
Based in New York City, Gallozzi will have responsibility for directing national profit center strategies, operations and risk control services for marine cargo, hull and liability product lines for ACE USA Commercial Marine.
ACE International & Specialty Group specializes in offering global programs and specialty coverages for mid- to large-sized U.S.-based companies.
Gallozzi has 25 years of commercial marine underwriting management experience in the insurance arena. He joined an ACE predecessor organization (CIGNA) in 1990 as a senior marine underwriter and has held several regional roles, most recently serving as marine vice president for commercial marine. Prior to his tenure with ACE USA, Gallozzi held marine underwriting positions at Fireman’s Fund and Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company, where he began his insurance career.
