Strategic Independent Agents Alliance (SIAA) out of Hampton, N.H., reports that it continued its growth in 2005 in terms of new Independent Strategic Members added and new written premium.
According to SIAA, SIAA topped $4 billion in overall written premium in 2005, which it says means SIAA now writes more premium than all but 11 domestic insurance companies.
Other highlights from 2005 include the signing of 241 Independent Strategic Members, bringing the total to more than topping 1,800 independent agencies; the creation of 19 new exclusive territories.
Also 2005 saw more than $269 million in new written premium; $406 million in total premium growth and $137 million in organic growth, according to SIAA.
SIAA said it maintained strong relationships with its Strategic Partner Companies in 2005, resulting in significant, profitable new premium production and a combined loss ratio with Strategic Partner Companies of 51%.
