Steve Cocke is the new chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer at the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA).
Cocke comes to IIABA from AOL, where he worked since 1997 and most recently served as executive director of finance. Prior to working at AOL, Cocke was CFO of Capital X-Ray Supply, Inc. in Springfield, Va., and a senior accountant at MCI Telecommunications in Arlington, Va.
As IIABA CFO and treasurer, Cocke will oversee all fiscal operations and accounts for the non-profit association and for several for-profit wholly owned subsidiaries. He will be responsible for developing budgets, managing cash flow and investments, preparing financial reports, overseeing audits, forecasting profit/loss, and streamlining financial processes.
