The education program InVEST announced that two new sponsors, Zurich North America Foundation and OneBeacon Insurance Group, have committed to help perpetuate and expand the program.
Art Albright, Zurich’s diversity officer, noted, “Our support of InVEST will help expand insurance education in urban areas and open doors to diverse young people who want to explore opportunities in the insurance industry.”
“InVEST offers terrific opportunities to strengthen and perpetuate our industry, including agencies, brokers, carriers, risk managers, and anyone providing service in this business,” said Carmen Duarte, vice president of Corporate Communications for OneBeacon. “These bright young InVEST students are very impressive and they will help nurture the next generation of successful insurance professionals.”
Other sponsors new to InVEST this year include A. F. Crissie & Co., Ltd.; ASI; Bowen Miclette & Britt, Inc.; Central Insurance Cos., and State Auto Insurance Company Foundation.
