Docucorp® International, a provider of enterprise information solutions, announced that Insurance Technology Solutions, Inc. (ITS), an ePolicy company that provides Web-based insurance technology, has developed a compatible interface with Docucorp’s Internet Policy Production System (iPPS).
With this new real-time module, insurance agents and companies using iPPS will be able to rate, quote, bind and produce insurance policies. The interface is immediately available in all 50 states.
Randy Skinner, senior vice president of services for Docucorp, said that with Docucorp’s iPPS, insurance agents and carriers have an extremely versatile, powerful tool for issuing policies. Skinner added that ITS’ comprehensive policy distribution and management system further supports iPPS with rating, quoting and binding functionality that is designed to reduce operating costs, provide greater underwriting control, enhance ease-of-use by agents, and improve customer service.
Rick Ulmer, senior vice president of ITS, added that Docucorp’s strong leadership with agents and insurance companies makes the interface a distinct advantage for the company’s mutual customers.
