The Consumer Division of Royal & SunAlliance USA announced that its Green Guard insurance program has been expanded and is now available in 41 states. Businesses from small retail garden centers and nurseries to large commercial greenhouse operations are eligible for participation in Green Guard.
After researching the horticultural market and its insurance needs, Royal & SunAlliance and the managing general agency for Green Guard – National Insurance Professionals Corporation of Poulsbo, Wa., – are offering the property and casualty program to independent insurance brokers in most states of the country.
Green Guard offers property (including eligible greenhouses and crops), general liability (including limited pollution and pesticide applicators), commercial auto, inland marine, umbrella, crime, boiler & machinery, and other coverages suited to this class of business. Due to the needs of this industry, Royal & SunAlliance also developed a custom endorsement designed for accounts with more complex insurance needs and offers a comprehensive set of enhancements and extensions. The broker can attach most ISO endorsements, allowing for further customizing. All policies are written on an admitted basis through one of Royal & SunAlliance’s AM Best “A+” rated insurance companies.
Green Guard is open to independent agents and brokers in 41 states.
