Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has completed two acquisitions: Persing, Dyckman & Toynbee Inc., of Tacoma, Washington, and Castle Insurance Associates Inc. of Boston. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Established in 1945, Persing, Dyckman & Toynbee, Inc. specializes in the construction and manufacturing industries and provides property owners’ and malpractice coverages. Curt Dyckman, area president, and his staff will continue to operate in their Tacoma, Washington location under the direction of Clark Johnson, Gallagher’s Northwest Regional Manager.
Castle Insurance Assoc. is an excess and surplus wholesale broker specializing in D&O, professional and product liability insurance coverages with emphasis on risks associated with Biotech firms. Charles McCarthy and his staff will continue operations in Boston under the direction of Joel Cavaness, President of Gallagher’s Risk Placement Services subsidiary.
