Spectrum 2000 is an especially significant improvement since it offers much more flexibility and greater protection against property and liability losses.
More than 700 types of businesses can now be protected with The Hartford’s Spectrum policy. Included are high tech businesses such as website design and software development; financial services providers such as security brokers and mortgage brokers; cultural organizations such as museums, art galleries and libraries; professional, civic and business associations; and even book and local newspaper publishers.
The Hartford also is introducing more than 25 new optional coverages for Spectrum. Examples include protection against theft by computer fraud, physical damage coverage for hired vehicles, and product recall and replacement coverage for manufacturers.
The policy can also be economically expanded by selecting a package of popular optional coverages that provide protection tailored to specific industries such as business services, communications, technology, cultural organizations, law offices, medical offices and printers. In addition, The Hartford has expanded Spectrum umbrella limits and coverages to meet the growing needs of small businesses.
Spectrum 2000 was initially introduced on August 1, and will soon be available throughout the continental U.S. Spectrum is not sold in Alaska or Hawaii.
