ePolicy.com, Inc. has appointed Geoff Smith as executive vice president of business insurance. Smith will be responsible for developing new business insurance products and strengthening relationships with top tier carriers to build partnerships.
Before joining ePolicy, Smith worked for 30 years with The Hartford. In 1994, Smith was made head of corporate business development and marketing for The Hartford’s commercial business and in 1996, he was named president of commercial affinity business operations in Hartford Commercial.
As ePolicy’s executive vice president of business insurance, Smith will work alongside Bruce Pfander, ePolicy’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, to develop overall marketing strategy for the company’s business insurance lines. Smith has been a board member of several insurance industry associations, including the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) where he held a post on the board of directors and chaired its executive committee.
