ebix.com Inc. has entered into a partnership with insuranceOrder.com, the Internet one-stop insurance information and purchasing destination, to offer customers an end-to-end browsing to buying experience for auto insurance. Home, renter’s, life and health insurance will soon be added.
Consumers will be able to compare product offerings from insurance carriers on ebix.com, receive a quote powered by insuranceOrder.com, and complete the transaction electronically.
insuranceOrder.com is an Internet insurance destination based in Austin, Texas offering consumers the ability to research, quote and purchase insurance policies from insurance carriers. ebix.com, which launched in September 1999, includes a virtual marketplace where consumers can define their policy coverages and seek competitive quotes from a number of carriers or agents/brokers in a timeframe defined by the consumer.
