Thomas Evans, Jr. of Biglow & Company, Inc, (Assured Partners) in Fox Lake, Illinois, has been elected and formally installed as the President of Big I Illinois at the organization’s annual convention in Peoria earlier this month. He will serve a one-year term.
As president, Evans Jr. is responsible for leading the direction of Big I Illinois over the next year and will act as an official delegate of the association at state and national functions.
Evans Jr. has been in the insurance industry since 1996, beginning with an internship while attending Northern Illinois University and steadily advancing through a variety of roles before joining Biglow & Company, where he has worked for several years.
As president, Evans Jr. will guide the association’s strategic direction and represent Illinois agents at state and national functions. He plans to focus on advocacy, engagement, and industry education, particularly by encouraging more young agents to get involved.
Evans Jr. has represented Big I Illinois in various roles, including Regional Director, At Large Director, Government Relations Committee Member, Vice President, and President-Elect.
