Tropolis, an insurance brokerage that provides property & casualty (P&C) and employee benefits solutions, announced it has completed the acquisitions of four Midwest insurance agencies. Terms of the private transactions were not disclosed.
The four businesses are BDMH Enterprises, an insurance and risk management solutions agency for skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities nationwide; Follmer Insurance Services, providing commercial & personal lines insurance, including farm and life products; Madigan Pingatore Insurance Agency, specializing in hospitality, and regional commercial enterprises; and R&A Insurance, specializing in commercial lines including churches, and contractors, as well as personal lines customers. BDMH is based in Chicago, and the other three agencies are based in the greater Detroit and Northern Michigan areas.
